MINERÍA la mejor puerta de acceso al sector minero EDICIÓN 570 / MARZO 2025 50 Seguridad Abstract Many situations can occur during shift change in a mining operation and concerning the information that is generated, such as: i) information silos, ii) use of non-standard tools to share safety events, iii) the need to go to a command center to declare a dangerous event detected during shift change and iii) the existence of scattered information. This paper proposes the creation of a tool based on Digital Twins that focuses on supporting the shift change activity. Digital Twins have an innate characteristic of being able to be information aggregators and therefore represent an excellent opportunity for implementation. In order to create the aforementioned tool, the authors present a new methodology for the creation of engineering services based on Digital Twins, based on the concept of composiblity, which we have called: Composable Digital Twin Services or CDTS. CDTS ensures modularity and scalability in the creation of Digital Twins through the generation of software services that respond to a composable microservices architecture.
