MINERÍA la mejor puerta de acceso al sector minero EDICIÓN 576 / SEPTIEMBRE 2025 126 Seguridad / Safety IMPACTO DE LA CAPACITACIÓN EN CONDUCTORES MINEROS A TRAVÉS DE SIMULADORES: ANÁLISIS ESTADÍSTICO DE VARIABLES CLAVE IMPACT OF SIMULATOR-BASED TRAINING FOR MINE DRIVERS: STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF KEY VARIABLES Abstract Purpose: Evaluate the impact of training mining drivers using machinery simulators, considering variables such as perception, attention, efficiency, and safety. The influence of covariates such as age, occupational group, company, duration of training, and work experience was explored. Materials and Methods: A heavy machinery simulator was used to train and evaluate a sample of 117 mining drivers in various driving skills. Data on perception, attention, efficiency, and safety were collected before and after training, as well as information on covariates such as age, occupational group, company, duration of training, and work experience. An analysis was performed using Wilcoxon's signed-rank test for repeated measures, before and after training. Results: A significant improvement was observed in the perception, attention, efficiency, and safety skills of mining drivers after training
