MINERÍA la mejor puerta de acceso al sector minero EDICIÓN 574 / JULIO 2025 52 Geoingeniería Abstract The Cisneros gold project, located in Antioquia, Colombia, consists of a mesothermal structural system made up of veins and shear zones, which are mined using the long hole drilling method. To reduce unplanned dilution in the Nus shear zone, cemented rock fill (CRF) has been implemented. The methodology included the design of cement mixtures, compression strength tests, and a detailed geomechanical analysis. The results showed that CRF strength increases with higher cement content and curing time, meeting the safety requirements established by the company. The implementation of CRF reduced dilution to values below 10% in the initial stopes, ensuring optimal safety factors and superior productive efficiency. This study demonstrates the effectiveness of CRF in maintaining stability and productivity in the Nus shear zone mining operations.
