This paper analyzes the impact of autonomous haul trucks on operational efficiency and workplace safety within the mine. Through a technical review, data analysis, case studies, and discussion of results, it demonstrates how automation has transformed productivity, reduced human-related risks, and optimized operating costs. The paper also addresses the technical and social challenges associated with this transformation and proposes recommendations for sustainable implementation.
