Beyond being a technological product, AVA was conceived as a comprehensive strategy structured in ten key stages, ranging from problem identification to ongoing monitoring and continuous improvement. The main objective was to improve access to relevant data from internal systems (SAP) and knowledge bases composed of procedures and standards, particularly in fieldwork contexts, where employees often face time constraints and the need to travel to consult traditional platforms. AVA responds to frequently asked queries via WhatsApp, enabling fast interaction without requiring technical knowledge or physical movement. In addition to addressing operational technical requests, the solution incorporates content from other areas such as Human Resources and Occupational Health, reinforcing its cross-functional nature. This integration has enabled time optimization, reduced the operational workload of support areas, and increased workforce autonomy. The tool has delivered tangible improvements in operational efficiency, workforce autonomy, and the reduction of unproductive time. AVA represents a concrete step forward in the digital transformation of the mining sector, with strong potential for replication across other operations.
