Abstract

This research work has allowed us to know the relationship between the "H" plate & anchor 1 (the first two meters) and the geomechanical conditions in situ in the area where the multiple extensometers were installed, thus allowing us to characterize the interior of the rock mass. For this purpose, Barton's "Q" classification has been used, obtaining a new "Qi" or "inner Q" that values the quality inside the rock mass from the recalculation of three variables, the "RQDi", "Jni" and the "Jai" while the parameters Jr, Jw and SRF are the same values obtained in the in situ geomechanical mapping stage.
